    23 Years of Suffering Comes To An End!!

    The one major thing that comes to mind after looking at the new Rolling Stone Picture. 23 Years of pure misery has come to an end. I'd like To quote Billy Corgan of the Smashing Pumpkins, "The World has gone to hell in a hand basket.... ever since David Lee Roth left Van Halen!". It was almost 23 years to this day January 21st, 1984... a young kid saw the mighty Van Halen play in Jacksonville, FL... first show of the tour.... A young kid was rushed out of the show early thinking he would be taken back next year to see Van Halen in 1985.

    1985 came and went.... nothing...

    Then in 1986 Van Halen hired an upside down MOP, to front the band... and now 23 fucking years of the affiction is upon me!!!

    I've stood by Dave and his solo career as soon as he left the band... never looking back!

    I was the dork during the age of Grunge music wearin' the "Eat Em' And Smile" tour t-shirt.

    I was the dude laughed at by several employees for purchasing "YFLM" at Sam Goody... when half the store thought he was DEAD.

    I'm the guy who lays out of the beach with a classic Van Halen tattoo.... and people ask "What the fuck does that tattoo mean?"

    You know... and i'm still the fucking guy who's been comin' to this website for years BLEEDING CLASSIC VAN HALEN... who posts everyday.... hoping and waiting that Dave may soon one day return...
    Unfuckingbelievable.... My prayers have been answered!!

    I've literally got goosebumps from looking at the new pic.

    Unreal....

    The greatest fucking band in the world is back together!!!

    With or without Mikey...

    It's Van Halen with Roth....

                              Nice post Warf. I am one of the people who are right there with you. It's been a long time coming and I can't wait to see what this tour brings us. Maybe Dave can stick around for a few years. We can only hope.

                                  so what you're saying is that you've been suspended in time: mullet...black concert tour shirts...cassette deck playing old VH. i get it. well...the 80's are coming one more time for the nostalgia tour. bring that bic lighter.
