So even a miniscule ray of light is a shitload more
than what we've had for a long long time.

If it ends, so be it, we are no worse off than we

I think (In fact I think we all know) there's probably
an album of CVH recorded since 96. Even if we
get the 3 Van Halens and Dave, methinks these
recordings have a much better chance of seeing
the light of day. Theres much to look forward to

My patience is waning

the tour is being put off..until when? later this year? next year? what? I just want some answers and not partial answers that lead to more questions. And not partial answers that contradict interviews given just one week prior. This is where I start to call bullshit. And I wish Dave would too. I love Dave to death and I know he is in a tight spot and he is trying to tell us all he can without rocking anybodys boat. But, seriously...wtf is going on?? They only had one rehearsal and a photoshoot and they were talking tour?? and now its off...

of course its off!! you can't just kiss hello after 20+ years of NOT playing together and announce a tour...take a few nice pics and call it a reunion...why? because you stood in the same room and didn't bust eachothers skulls?? and then call it off...and then what? put it back on?. Where the fuck is the commitment?? Is there a commitment from anyone besides Dave? Isn't he getting tired of walking down the one way street ?

I really wanted this tour...but if its going to be THIS fucked up from the get-go...I'm not getting my hopes up.

Like I said, we all have our threshold for pain and what we are willing to tolerate as fans. Personally, I'll see Dave anywhere, anytime...but this thing has got the kiss of death all over it.

Even the RRHOF gig is fucked up now. It will be funny as hell to see Dave and Sam at the RRHOF though.. Sam will be kissing Daves ass, as he should. And Dave will be basking in the glory as he should. It will be a sight.

Anyway...just wanted to vent...I'm cranky and I'm tired. And I just want Dave to say the last "thank you and goodnight" from Van Halen. And its pissing me off.
