Slash Butchering an Eddie Solo

So here's an axample of why Velvet Revolver shouldnt be performing for Van Halen.

I like Slash and all and think he's a good player but trying to play an Eddie solo is another thing.


This is from the Michael Jackson Tribute show back in 2001. Slash is performing on the song Beat It. When it gets to the solo he is playing his own thing and it just sucks. So here's what we can expect from Velvet Revolver tonight.

Slash doesn't sign his checks the same as Ed, and vice-versa.

Not neccessarily a bad thing...

Just different...

Actually, I don't think that playing is too terrible for Splash...

Sounds like a typically sloppy Jimmy Page solo with a little whammy thrown in...
