I'd have said it may have been an intentional dig at Van Hagar had not ATBL been so shitty as well...
No, I have the feeling Velvet Revolver just plain didn't put in enough rehearsal time combined with the fact that they're not all that great a band. The instrumentation could have improved with some practice, but VR's singer is what he is.
Sounds like Guns N' Roses without the only halfway good part...Axl...
Look, I could go on youtube and find a bad performance from just about any band. I've seen VR twice, and they crushed live.
Are they Guns n Roses: hell no. Bands like that only happen once a generation.
I'm not disputing that they fucked up royally at the RRHOF - but that doesn't mean that everything they've ever done is awful.
Y'know what though, Eddie could learn something from Velvet Revolver: there are three addicts in that band, and they still tour and put out records.....

They ARE rock's equivalent to Duran Duran.
I haven't seen the hall of fame performance, but this post is just nonsense!
Weiland's the best front man to come out of the 90s, and if you haven't seen him perform live, you don't know what you're talking about! I have seen him thoroughly own a stage numerous times with different bands. I've seen him embarrass other platinum selling artists on the same bill.
I've seen STP DEVASTATE, twice. And watching VR live is like having your head inside a Harley engine.

That one video they had out is pretty gay though.
BWAHAHAHAHA!
Just wait until you see the performance.

World's still waiting on Ed...
Y'know, I'd rather not ever hear from Eddie again if he's gonna be as shitty as VR.
If we got Axl and the remaining guys from STP together, we might just have a real supergroup.
I'm glad you caught a couple of great shows. I've seen a few shitty bands put on a great live act. But the deal here is that VR fucked up MEGA bad the other night and I'm gonna go on record as sayin' that they did it ON FUCKING PURPOSE!!!
Yeah, the world is waiting on Eddie. I'm waiting on Scott *tosses some loose change into the death pool*
