    Van Halen got what they deserved!!!

    what else should they got?

    the band is dysfunctional for years...

    their egos ruined the legacy...

    they are irrelevant for the future and will not get their shit together...

    they have been perfectly represented at the induction!

      Well if Ed was really getting help, why could Alex not been there? Holding lil brothers hand? Hell...Dave, Alex, Mike and Sammy would have been good enough...just show up give a little thanks, sing a song...Hell, even could have had Wolf show up in his dads place...they say he plays guitar too? Could still have had a somewhat reunion?????

          agreed ... Alex should have made the trip and gave us the VH side of the story ... not Mike or "that other guy" - if Alex would have said he was coming (or if Ed would have allowed him to come) then maybe Dave would have given in to the idiots in cleveland and been at the Waldorf afterall...

          But yes, disfunctional - just like the induction

              They were up for contention as the Greatest American Hard Rock Band, up until 1996. Then they trashed their chance.

                          This whole RRHOF thing started off on the wrong foot. They should've never inducted Gaygar with Van Halen. As soon as that news was out they should've boycotted the whole thing. So Gaygar and Saucy bounced around on stage like a couple of tubby has-beens singin why can't this be love....pure comedy.
