LookN4AMootBeat: Thanks for actually understanding what I was trying to get across in my original post. Im more of a CVH fan than a Hagar era fan. The two eras have completely different qualities musically. I think Ed's song writing structure was more intricate with Sam however his guitar playing on the Roth albums is mindblowing. I play alot of Eds stuff but do D.O.A, Hear About It Later, Im the One and Drop Dead Legs live with my band. We do Roth's Tell The Truth too. And as for the ASS CLOWNS who didnt understand what I was trying to say originally and cut me up..whatever.

But I will say this:

If any of you actually talked to me after my set Im pretty sure you wouldn't be such a bunch of clowns and actually realize that eventhough I may have grown up during the Van Hagar years that Im am as much a VAN HALEN fan as one of you. As for me finding "fulfillment" by impressing women on 10 cent wing night...(LOL that was good man) . Actually I find fulfillment through being married to my wife who I met while in grad school, our 5 year old daughter who is a budding pianist, my soon to be born son and renovating our dream Victorian home. Nice shot none the less...

As for the dive bars..not quite. We played the Hard Rock here in Toronto when Van Hagar was here in 2004 and a few times since then. A few years back I played at the Montreal Jazz festival and have sat in with a few local Toronto Blues bands during the film fest and Canadian National Exhibition. This May Im going to be in studio playing on 2-3 tracks for a pretty famous male Canadian artist workng with a first class Canadian producer who worked under Bruce Fairbairn.

But Im sure those few years you have on me playing guitar would make me in some way less of....actually I'll take your advice and not go there.
