Gary Cherone? Sadly I don't know much about him at all apart from he was in Extreme. That's why I don't refer to him. Obviously he didn't last but was he actually any good? Any decent songs? *^_^* \m/

          No and No.

VHIII was awful, a 2 song album at best which isn't worth your time. The only thing half-decent about Gary was that he was prepared to sing Dave-era songs live that Sam wouldn't do.

As for Extreme. nuno Bettencourt was an amazing guitar player, killer riffs and solos!!

However Gary's vocals are more Broadway than Sunset Strip and basically sucked all of the energy out of the band...

Um, have you heard Spammy's Jump? In the UK they insist on having HIS version of Jump on video jukeboxes and I had a listen when someone out it on. OMFG. Ew. Never again. *^_^* \m/

Mike is a fucking tool for acknowledging Gary in his speech.

              What an idiot.

Did Sabbath mention their revolving door of singers in their acceptance speech?

Yeah, like Gary really contributed to anything (it was a FUCKING LOW POINT in VH history, bass player!)

I actually wish that Gary Cherone would have been the one who showed up, and gave the speach...

now that would have been priceless...

given us a little big of Josephina...

brought a tape with Ed singing How Many Say I...

we missed out on something that coulda been great...

DAMN YOU GARY...WHERE THE FUCK WERE YOU WITH YOUR BROWN LEISURE SUIT AND LESBIAN HAIR-CUT?

Whole point of Van Halen getting inducted into that lame-ass HoF was to get CVH up there to play some tunes.

Had that happened, would anyone have gave a shit who inducted them?

I think Henry Rollins should have inducted them, and The Atomic Punks should have been the performer!

When you think of Van Halen you think of David Lee Roth.

That is, without a doubt, the worst performance by a so-called "Supergroup" I have ever heard.

That is a band and players that did not give a fuck. Fucking scag addicts, they deserve to be beaten, badly. The actual induction speach was worse than their performance, they did not give a fuck. Slash is everything that Ed is not as a uitar player. Shit tone, shit chops, lazy, uninventive, follower not innovater. 5 minutes is all it would have taken to learn the riff to ATAL. How was the fucking inversion, dumb cunt.

I want to beat him up badly, and might one day given the chance.
