I emailed Billy Sheehan a while back for the Skyscraper demos.
Surprisingly he mailed me back and sent them.
He told me not to share them with Mr. Calderone, unless he apologizes for his Hagar Parru parru shit thread.
I sent Billy a coupon for 6 glazed donuts. (please, no bottle of anything comments,)
that is allComment

I guess he has tons !
Skyscraper demos
EEAS DEMOS in fact..all of his solo album demos
the 1993 unreleased album where he recorded
"kicks" "crosstown traffic" "seriously affected" "kill the guy" "cruel obsession" "bad habits" "ain't that peculiar" and more....
VHCLASSIC ERA demos ...1984 Outtakes, and more
im sure he has load loads of demos and rare stuff !
C'mon Dave ....give us something new !
at least update your site ! put up some rare pics !
don't be so boring man !
Updating the site and adding rare pics is cool. Maybe snippets of audio of unreleased stuff, but full songs? Nah... Im waiting for a full CD.
And those solo demos off of his 91 to 93 era, were not good enough to be released. Kill the Guy was shit. Seriously Affected isn't even him. Bad Habits was released for the Sgt Bilko soundtrack only.
I'll wait for the new VH CD. I might wait awhile, but it'll be worth it. (Im one of those delussional fans ya hear about but seldom see)"FUCK YOU, YOU FUCKIN' BITCH! WHO THE FUCK DO YOU THINK YOU ARE ANYWAYS? TALK TO ME LIKE THAT? FUCK YOU. DRAG QUEEN LOOKIN' WHORE- YOU AINT SHIT. YOUR THE FRECKLE TO THE LEFT OF MY BROWN EYE. NOW GO MAKE YOURSELF USEFUL...OH, PUT DAD ON THE PHONE"Comment

When I briefly worked for Dave a few years ago, I asked him why he didn't didn't release concert footage of Van Halen in their prime - specifically the Oakland shows. His answer confirmed the obvious: He only controls 1/4 of the old VH material. The brothers and Mike would have to sign off on the release of any video or audio material.
Dave has often said that he personally filmed almost everything when VH was on tour for 1984 - the backstage antics, etc. When I pressed the issue, saying that the stuff he shot was most likely legally his and he could probably release it without any hassle, he just didn't seem to care.
Many people think Dave is a marketing genius. He's not. And when it comes to things like like assembling old video footage, scouring through his collection of audio tapes or improving his Internet presence, he's completely disinterested. He's the anti-Gene Simmons and that's not necessarily a bad thing.Comment
