I just wanted to let you all know a little of what is going on.
First being that yes, all five of the inducted members (past and present) of Van Halen will be in attendance at the induction ceremony one week from Monday Night.
Velvet Revolver are going to induct them and play some tunes, but don't be surprised if the band gets up there as well to play. Absolutely nothing has been ruled yet and people on all sides are trying to make this happen some how.

A friendly suggestion for the Army . . .
At Links, we've set up an "approved" list of members who have been proven to have reliable info in one form or another. For example, one of the Red Rocker's nephews posts occasionally and gives very good info, a lot of it on the down-low and well in advance of becoming public. So, when someone comes on to Links and starts giving out supposedly "inside" info, you check to see if they're on the "approved" list. If they are, there's a good chance the info is legit. If not, you can take it for whatever it's worth (probably not much). Someone like The Guy would never be on our "approved" list, and we wouldn't waste time debating whether what he says means anything.
It's one of the benefits of a tightly regulated, highly censored message board where you can say whatever you want as long as the people running the place agree with you. That's the VH Links way, and we love it. Sarge and everyone should think about it for the Army.
I'm happy to field inquiries or discuss how we set it up at Links if anyone is interested.

Just a little update on whats been going on.
Pretty much not alot, Edward is doing great in his recovery so far. The man is in great spirits and feels great. No timetable on how long he will remain, but time isn't a problem at all.
Plans are same as before, but just delayed.
Mike is not 100% out of the picture yet, internal discussions have been gone on about this situation. Thats all I can say about that right now.
I have to give some kudos to Mike and Sam for their nice comments during and after the hall of fame ceremony. There was alot of disappointment though regarding the lack of effort put in by Velvet Revolver. Weiland's performance was a disgrace.
Dave had been getting Jump ready for primetime and the powers that be let him down. Which in turn let a huge Van Halen fanbase down, Atleast Mike and Sam did what they could with the house band and I commend them for that.
Have a Happy Easter and be back soon.
