No Official HOF reactions or comments?

I'm surprised no one has tried to get Dave's, Al's or even Ed's take on the debacle that they called an induction and piss poor representation at the HOF. Has a hit been put officially out on VR?

I mean if they were to comment on the performance it's not like they'd be spilling any beans with regard to the tour or anything that's been going on internally or otherwise.

Just found it odd that no one has said anything.

Anyone know of any feedback from the VH or DLR camp?

I think, personally, that the silence is deafening! And the best possible move. No comment = they don't acknowledge that The Other Half showed up AS Van Halen (which is, let's face it, what they did). Velvet's music and Scotty's induction speech was fucking awful by any indication, whether you're a Hagar and/or VR fan or not. The RNRHOF was NOT the final note that the REAL Van Halen will go out on.

Van Halen was never about awards or credibility within the so-called "circle of experts" of the music industry. Van Halen was about ASS KICKING ROCK AND ROLL, not that horseshit. Mike and Sammy can have that all to themselves as far as I've concerned, and frankly, I couldn't give a whit.

Being quiet about it and not commenting at all is a show of solidarity between Eddie, Alex and David, and THAT is a very reassuring sign for the future, I think. If there wasn't any solidarity between them...well, to be honest, Dave would have commented by now.

Let Mike and Sam talk about it til doomsday. They don't have anything else worth talking about, anyway.

REAL Van Halen fans know that the RNRHOF induction was a joke, a farce, a sham, and as FAKE as it could get. In essence - all present on this board know that - or should.

Van Halen was 'supposedly' honored for their achievements by the industry - luckily enough, the part of Van Halen that mattered told them to shove their fake appreciation straight up their collective asses.

Let the vultures to the Van Halen legacy have whatever scraps they can muster.

Seems obvious to me... lack of comment means they still lack excuses.

Don't think for one minute the 1st question out of any media jerk isn't going to be... Why didn't you show up at the HOF induction? Followed by what did you think of the ceremony?

They ain't talkin to save face... plain and simple. There's no higher ground. It's called avoidance.

They won't comment until there's something else to shine in the spotlight... so the HOF deal will need to be a sidebar discussion that can be blown off with a witty remark and quickly moved on from.
