        I was cleaning out my inbox and was having a laugh..

        the reason there's all these other old threads coming back, though,
        is cause of that 'similar threads' feature at the bottom of the page...

        People see one of 'em and post a reply,
        not realizing it's several years old in some cases...

                    If Al and Dave had any sense they'd fire Ed with the way he's been playing over the last 5 years. I've heard teenagers at Guitar Center play Eruption better than Ed can these days........who told Ed his drum stick solo was a good idea anyway.......and fans dog on Mike for his "drinking Jack Daniels in the romper room" thing

Neither parties have delivered what they delivered originally as a unit....it's been a real sad and sorry state of affairs......underwhelming to say the least.

                                    Yes I did as I've been a Satriani fan since I was 14, I've been a Van Halen fan since I was 10 and I've been a Hagar fan since I was about 11....I even like a little bit of the Chili Peppers' music from time to time when the mood strikes me. So why wouldn't I buy it?


                                    I own or have owned every single Roth solo release with the exception of his greatest hits that came out but I did buy his book...the only one I bought used was YFLM....thankfully as that one was quite the piece of shit.


                                    ....maybe I was 15 when I first got into Satriani? It was somewhere between 8th and 9th grade
