Eddie's "new" tone is the same stupid tone from the 1998 Gayry tour

I don't know how to describe the tone other than goofy and inverted sounding (and not in a good way) but it sounds just like the 1998 Gayry tour tone to me, which I hated.

I feel sorry for Cherone. I don't mind people slamin Spam or even Van Hagar-though there are Van Hagar tunes that I really like. Spam and Van Hagar thrive on it. But Cherone was an alright guy-just at an all wrong time with the all wrong band.

I G Z A K L E E !!! Cherone was a ROTH FAN. He might as well have been a Roth Army member! The ONLY reason he played Hagar stuff (there were only a few) on the VH3 tour was because Eddie INSISTED they play 1 token song per Hagar CD. The ONLY reason he appeared with Sammy on his DVD/Tour was because he was invited. Cherone NEVER opened for VH when they were touring with Hagar in the late eighties, but he DID open for ROTH. Plus, Cherone was INVITED to live his unimaginable dream, which was to record and tour with VH, in other words, to imitate DLR, and he did.

I don't believe that there are ANY Roth fans on this site that would've turned Eddie, Alex & Mike down if they had the talent.

That's all well and good but that's not even my point. Everyone's saying Eddie's got this "new" tone but it's the same thing in my opinion that he was doing 6 years ago.

True but you know Eddie....his tone changes about once a generation, and he's still playing the 'Balance/VH3' tone.
