I went to Georgia to spend the summer at my best friends grandparents! Took the latest craze with me .... my new cassette boombox along with a Aerosmith Rocks and Kiss Destroyer cassettes. Took a walk up to the local mall and saw this new release! VH's first! Needless to say the Steven and Paul took back seat for the rest of the summer! DAVE was at the wheel now!

Certainly this imagination is your only sexual experience so far.

Your raging hard-on for Ford is quite apparent my little douche nibbler.

Thanks for ruining a fine thread.

First CVH memory: buying WACF at a car-boot sale on casseste when I was eight years old and being absolutely blown away.

I can still remeber that feeling, that sheer adrenaline rush and hairs standing up all over my body.

            Good times.

My older brother turned me on to 1984 in 1984.

I was 11 at the time and remember being blown away by "Hot For Teacher".

              Been rockin' it ever since!

just listened to alot of diver down, then some push comes to shove and hot for teacher. magic. dave's voice and lyrics brought so much to vh, i can only wonder what if dave had to keep his ego in check and stay in the band.

actually, when i heard "unchained" on the radio for the first time in 1981. my mom is not much into rock......but she loves cvh! it did not surprise me much when she recently admitted she had a crush on dlr at the time.

she saw how much i was going crazy in the car whenever it came on,so she went and bought me the first four cvh vinyls and a pair of tickets to the show at long beach arena for me and her to go. the opening act was this KILLER band from england called IRON MAIDEN! the singer was paul di'anno. sadly that turned out to be his last show with maiden. later that year i got the first 2 maiden records.

anywho....cvh came out and just KILLED!maiden never had a chance.

IN 1981,NOBODY COULD TOUCH THE MIGHTY VAN HALEN!
