Just got back from lunch and was listening to the "All Request Lunch Hour" on the radio. A listener calls in and asks to hear Yankee Rose! Well, the DJ can't find it and says she'll play some Van Halen instead. Then she proceeds to play... "Right Now."

She should be fired immediately! :D :D

Not necessarily. She could be a young DJ who may not know the history of Van Halen.

The records would be labeled Van Halen be it Roth or Hagar.

I think she's just doing her job. She may be instructed to just address the band as "Van Halen."

Got a station here in southern Ontario that plays the same "bumper" everytime they've got VH lined up.

It goes ..."Got Roth? It ain't Van Halen unless it's got David Lee Roth" announced over top of some CVH playing in the background.
