Who wrote Best of Both Worlds

I picked up a tab book the other day. I was thumbing threw it and noticed that Dave' name appeared as the writer of the vocals on "Best of Both Worlds"
I knew that they were working on material for 5150 did was still surprised
to see this. I'm sorry if this has been discussed here before but I don't read every
    thread everyday.

    Nope. No way.

Summer Nights & Good Enough I think, but no way would Dave write that. Refuse to believe it.
"FUCK YOU, YOU FUCKIN' BITCH! WHO THE FUCK DO YOU THINK YOU ARE ANYWAYS? TALK TO ME LIKE THAT? FUCK YOU. DRAG QUEEN LOOKIN' WHORE- YOU AINT SHIT. YOUR THE FRECKLE TO THE LEFT OF MY BROWN EYE. NOW GO MAKE YOURSELF USEFUL...OH, PUT DAD ON THE PHONE"

It's very likely that the song may have started out as a Van HALEN song. It's not a cheese ballad, after all.

But the lyrics are pure SPAM

Yeah I just cant picture, nor do I want to, Dave writing any of those lyrics down on the back of a cocktail napkin or even shit paper.

"Well, there's a picture in a gallery of
A fallen angel looked a lot like you
We forget where we come from sometimes
I had a dream it was really you"

unless it was that time he did coke lines with Ozzy?

Exactly. Maybe Dave had worked up an arrangement with different lyircs, or had approached Ed with the idea for that chord sequence/riff/melody, and he had a legal basis to say "I had a hand in this composition".

But odds are really that it's a typo.

The mid-80's were my favorite. Makes me wish CVH could've stuck it out for one more album.
Would love to hear a reunion album '85-'86 style even if they use the same music Dave was writing on 5150.

No different than Bon Scott penning the lyrics to Back in Black when Brian Johnson replaced.
