Visiting the Links

I was at the links prior to joining this site-back when I was more of a Van Halen fan with Dave being a part of that. Thats why I joined this site. Nuff said.

Links actually used to be a pretty cool site. Sure, you always had your Chedheads and Eddie sheep there. And of course, EUAS started over there, and we kept them all in line, naturally. But the place went to Hell in a handcart when $tark$ shut down the Pasture Dump and the entire flock of rabid, militant sheep migrated over to the Links and infected it with their disease of worshipping everything that was WRONG about "Van Halen" after 1985. Brett let those fools take over his board and they're dragging it down to a level of dumbness that even exceeds the Pasture Dump. Hell, I can't really blame Brad $tarks for leaving the Dump out of the mix when he retooled Van-Hagar.com. I wouldn't want that flock back either.

I never had the, er, pleasure of hanging out on the Pleasure Dome. I'm glad I didn't. I think some of them hang out at eddievanhalen.com as well.

This site has more than enough for the serious-minded Van Halen fan.

Besides, what's the point of going to the links? Seems like most of their members are already here.
