if a CVH tour happens, dave will not be the uncertain factor, but Ed will... hope that Ed's condition will be as good as Dave's... concerning the hair, he looked better on the reunion photo some months ago, hope he will keep that look instead of impersonating the Doc from back to the future - no offense, dave ! :-)
yeah, he's in shape, he got the high note, like he sed himself some time ago. On the photo his face might express some scepticism... if that is so, i guess he is a little sceptic about Ed's condition. Thumbs up for the tour!
what i like the most about 'the scream' is the primitive aspect of it, and only secondly the high pitch...so to me the scream is still there............:p
BenJammin I don't think age is the factor here cause Dave's voice is still strong from the low notes and high notes
I don't think surgery is needed its most likely concentration and eliminating the flat notes and putting the Flow back into the singing style of every song he sings. On some of the stuff i have sounds like the singing has been broken up and slightly reduced to subtle talking threw some of the parts i think it a matter of coaching.

I've always compared Dave to Mick Jaggar. Neither one of them are a tremendously good vocalist. But they both can sing and they are incredible frontmen. They are the face and personality of their respective bands. Neither one are going to bring down the house on their vocal performance alone, but it's the attitude and the swagger along with the songs they sing that make them so entertaining. I can't imagine anyone other than Mick Jaggar fronting The Stones, nor do I like seeing someone other than Diamond Dave fronting The Mighty VH.
