Van Halen - Beating A Dead Horse

I was just thinking about it and reading some old threads cos I cannot sleep.

It seems that Edward Van Halen, Alex Van Halen and David Lee Roth wanna do it but every, single fucking time, something goes wrong? Is it Karma, not meant to happen or is it just like fucking, whereas the parties have to be completely alligned for the perfect orgasm? Otherwise, it's just a fuck?

I mean, it's beyond fucking obvious that the VH's WANT it to happen with Dave, no? Otherwise, why would they keep coming back time after time after time?

Also and let's not even bring this into the equasion but fuck the Hagar shit cos we're talking about Van Halen heeya.

The ONLY Hagarita-related referrence I'll make has to do with the bassplayer. Is it possible that his exclusion is not to hurt feelings or "fuck them" just cos MA's had his pee pee stuck in McHagar's ass (like a Siamese twin) for a cupla decades now?

Hence, the decision to dump Anthony 'TIS a good one, if it means severing any involvement with the Van Hagar crap for future projects. IMO

Then again, I'll be the first to cuntridict myself cos I'd love a reunion of the original four. However and reluctantly, MA's a Hagarita and we as VH fans do NOT want any of that shit both when and if they reconveine!!! Hence, the overwhelming acceptance of Ed's kid taking over the role prior to even hearing one note?

K, this year was like a souped up version of 2000, no? That year we all had the reports of new songs, etc. This year, we had pics and all things EVH were about the ONLY ERA of VH!!! From his guitar to any mention in the press...

Now, heeya comes 2008 and the 30'th Aniversary of VH. We can only speculate but Dave's being quiet, their collective no-showing at the HOF as a group and among other things only makes me think something miiiiiiiight be in the works for all of us who've waited for so long? I'm talkin' the TRUE and DEDICATED VH FANBASE that will not nor have EVER settled for anything less than VAN HALEN WITH DAVID LEE ROTH!!!

Those other chumps have had their Van Hagar "reuinions" and think it's the sheeeot!!!! Didn't that fuckstain Hag even publicly state that he's finally thrown in the towel? Seriously, I seem to remember at the HOF he openly stated that a VH reunion with Roth is what should happen, no? I think that fucker's even admitted defeat in his old age?

Anyhoo, do y'all think we're gonna get anything or just the same old shit i.e. NOTHING??!?!?!?!?

I'll just go with the clues being Dave's silence, EVH's presence and MA's cock still stuck in Hag's ass...

    Anyone?

The main pointer to the possibility that we might actually get something is Roth's current silence.

This is the last chance and he knows it. He also knows that the sisters are the masters of misconstruing any statemant that does not tow "their" company line.

Van Halen as a band has no other choice but to get Dave back in the mix. They haven't recorded new music since the Cherone debaucle. I would have to say that they are overdue for new music and they need a bigtime comeback. It will happen.

I really find this cat, one of the finest, sharpest, best rock or any style -Bassists- anywhere.Plus, he is familiar with the music of CVH.

I am going to make the call here for my own sanity.

If Mikey doesn't show because of the Spammbo quotient.

I would accept in my mind James LoMenzo, i find the Wolfie idea silly.

Ed and his son can do a side project together ..

VH is serious bizz and kids ain't got it no matter how -ED- plays it.

I guess this thread is about Bassist problems with VH.

          Yes/No?

Or maybe i am upset with the idea of 3 VanHalens cornering dave with
unbrushed teefs and the inability to move on from the past.

I think Dave and Al are taking things slow and waiting on Ed to stay sober for the rest of the year so they can approach Live Nation or some other tour promoter with having Ed with some time under his belt being/remaining sober.
It's still too soon to consider a tour as Ed's rehab is still in it's infancy, so the alternate might be that they are working on new album material and then present it with a tour for 2008 - which makes sense to me. just a thought.

Good title for the next album Max.

                I think we'll hear something.
We'll all have gray hair and we'll be high fiving each other with canes maybe but I think it'll happen eventually.

I think they can. Dave craves it and Ed has been motivated enough by "something" to "sober up".

New music before a tour is imperative IMO. Otherwise its going to look like another retrospective "look-back" milk-it-while-you-can-parody, and bang goes the last ounce of credibility that remains.

Dave has a brain, Ed has his fingers ... its what they can do, not what they can't do that needs to be emphasized.

As we all know, the ??? "bass-player" scenario is the death knell in all this anyway....(thanks Mike). A "new" bass-player will affect everything - new music, a tour .. da lot.

I wonder if Ed has begun any kind of "counseling" dialog with MA? It can only be Mike.

(Didn't Wolfgang rule himself out of a tour anyway?)

At the moment its not so much a dead horse but a 3-legged donkey without "The Bassplayer".

At age 15, Peter Simple was the oldest ever racehorse to win the Grand National - It can be done.

Bassplayer is on the Spamella-wanna be Jimmy Buffet bandwagon, therefore, (in my best Richard Nixon impression) "Let me say this about that"....I back up and highly endorse WHOMEVER gets the honor of the bassplayer slot for VH 2008, as handpicked by ED, DAVE & AL.

                          Way to lay low.

And God heard the voice of the lad. Then the angel of God called to Hagar out of heaven, and said to her, “What ails you, Hagar? Genesis 21:17
