Yup, that's what think as well, pre-rehab recordings during the initial tour rehearsals.
That is definitely Al playing, and possibly Wolfie on the bass.
Still, nice to hear something "current" or whatever.

Nope. Just a troll that strolls in every once in a blue moon with an "inside scoop" on Van Halen that amounts to old information already known written creatively, and it's been proven numerous times.
All of those clips lack the old Eddie energy. His playing is sluggish and sloppy and has been for some time now. Also, I can't handle that dry crunchy tone.
And God heard the voice of the lad. Then the angel of God called to Hagar out of heaven, and said to her, “What ails you, Hagar? Genesis 21:17
it's funny that the amp is supposed to release this month, and there is no hype what so ever about it. usually the marketing machine is going on these things. They have no momentum on it. No demo or soundclips or info other than coming soon. what a joke
Cool find and thanks. Hearin' the lil' bits of classic riffage gave me the goosebumps. I actually don't mind his tone. I liked his fills on RWTD and the flang on Unchained was pretty cool too.
I also think it's a good sign that every track was CVH and did anyone notice the picks that come in the case? The REAL VAN HALEN LOGO!!!
