        The Van Halen brothers needed to change the name of the band from Van Halen to some other name in '85. I think everyone would have accepted the new band with Sammy, because they would not be using the VH name. Also, they would not have been able to perform any of the DLR songs accept for the cover songs. I remember Eddie being asked this question of the band name change and he said it was their given name so they were not going to change it. However, Diamond Dave gave the band this name. They should of just called the band 5150 or better yes OU812. Could there have been a worse album title. Oh yea F.U.C.K. They thought they were being cool but they have to look back and go .... Idiot!!
