No disrespect but I barely play bass. I own one, can fill in when needed and am extremely average. However, I've played guitar for twenty four years. What's my point? Again, no disrespect to either Anthony nor Wolfgang but VH's bass parts are not very difficult. They work with VH which makes them good but they're nothing special and pretty easy to play for the most part.

OK, however if they play a couple of new songs, it is possible that they could really smoke, with the bass lines standing out.

apocalypso made a good point over at the links, i think it was him, who ever said this was a reunion? sorry max, but it isn't. it's a reunion of ed and dave, sure. but it's not a van halen reunion. all the mike people right now keep saying this ain't no reunion it's bullshit without the original member. like apocolypse said...where has the band ever stated this is a reunion? as max would say it is what it is

Then the question I ask is why did these same sheep consider the 2004 flop a so-called "reunion?" When infact it wasn't cos it was a replacement singer? Hence, it WASN'T Van Halen.

Regardless, I don't care if they call it a "reunion" or The Van Halen Family Featuring David Lee Roth. Fuck, they could call it Mammoth Revisited for all I care. The point is that it IS the closest thing to REAL VAN HALEN since 1984!!!

If the Diamond One is coming back to VAN HALEN, no matter who is in the band, as long as Ed is still the guitarist, it's a reunion.
