There's no fall tour. Whomever "leaked" this --well, it's just another cynical and possibly self-defeating means to keep the Van Halen name in the press...

Maybe it was Janie. Maybe it was someone in management. But it's looking pretty far fetched at this point.

And if Van Wolfgang do play this year, it won't be a "tour," but a few small venues and appearances to tune-up and to generate buzz...

It's funny that the last real "new" Van Halen-related news we've heard was from the Wolf's mouth: that he was "too young" and had no intention to play with dad, uncle Al and their friend Dave.

We'll see...

I have to disagree. I don't think anyone in the VH camp is stupid enough to continually float tours to keep the band's name out there. That's the last publicity they need. And VH doesn't just change their website to say something new on a whim. If they didn't think there was a need for a newsletter, Brad wouldn't have been given persmission to post that.

And as many times as it's been said that Dave's never, ever coming back, it's hard to hold any of them to what they said.

Truthfully,
I am simply happy Ed got a couple weeks of detox and finally
broke down and did something positive towards a better future as in
some much needed dental work.

(edit :I do know that Ed was in Rehab if i can trust a thousand different media info slutz.If not, he did have some dental work and got a hair cut .He can afford those two things, rehab is another thing
that costs alot of money .lol)

I will get excited when the -Band- stands up together and sais, "We Need This Tour", this album, this chance to play together again.Fuk a Fan.

Even if they do it in secret and never do a thing publicly.

The only thing I can count on so far and hopefully into the future is that Dave has put out some great tunes w/o VH and maybe he will drop some more music on us/me.

Dave's music is what i like, first, last and that, is who I am a fan of.

Don't fool yourself into thinking it wasn't about the 'cash' when VH were playing clubs up until the point they were selling out every venue on the map by '84.

Making lots of dough has ALWAYS been a factor.

It is about the music first to real quality writing and arranging, but I know everyone has heard this but i cannot remember the exact line, it goes something like this.

Does anyone have the total sales numbers for the DLR Solo albums including the The Best Of?

Also, it is called the music biz for a reason. The only thing I hated was the Pepsi commercial with Right Now and they used You Really Got Me for the car commercial although this was not an original song. I think that commercial came in 96.
