Dude, if you type Van Halen anywhere on the net, they will show Dave with the group like 80% of the time. People recognise VH as Dave, Ed, Al and Mike. Try Google for the fuck of it. See how many with Dave vs Sperm.

Maybe, maybe not. I think if there were really tons of drugs involved, the chariot woulda blown a spoke alot sooner. Sure, lotsa drinking, some piles of booger sugar here and there....the competitive "fury" existing between Dave and Ed is still my choice for the ultimate demise. Everyone spews about the US Fest show being a drunk tank, etc. Dave worked his ass off and Ed was sure sober enough to throw in a few knee-slides. Point being, a VAN HALEN show oft enough (and there were TRUE drunkfests like monsters of rock) was way too physical to be totally drug ridden.
