    Weekend with VH

Does anyone remember the win a Weekend with VH that was on MTV back in 1984. If anyone has any of that info/pictures I would love to see it.

    Dude...

YouTube is overrun with VH videos, including the MTV "Lost Weekend" with Van Halen footage.

    Go forth and search...

Thanks man. Those were the days. Can you imagine if a woman won this contest.

I wonder how Waldo looks today. They should get him back for a new video except this time he is the teacher getting hit on by the girls.

I have goose bumps just watching this show. I really wonder what that guy is doing right now. How incredible that weekend was for him. I never saw VH with David Lee Roth. It is such a shame to think what this band could have accomplished in the next few years. Eddie was only 30 years old when the DLR was out of the band. I really think they could have lasted the rest of the '80's, but eventually they would have broken up with all the egos. They should have ruled the Rock world for the entire '80s.

they should have split for a year got Ed to pursue a solo album or whatever and reconvened. It was obvious that maybe they were sick of each other and maybe Ed wanted to do other things.Dave should have let Ed do his own thing for a year and se what haeppned afterwards.

Even 20 some years later it still holds a record for a major MTV contest as far as the amount of people that signed up the the chance of winning. That just shows you how huge they were.
