    vh set list

    The setlist as performed:

    Jump
    Runaround
Humans Being (With Ed o_n his 5150 Kramer!)
Up For Breakfast (new tune described as hard rocking fun)
    Bass Solo
Somebody Get Me a Doctor (Mike o_n lead vocals)
    Poundcake
    It's About Time
    Drum Solo
    Top Of The World
    Unchained
    Why Can't This Be Love
    Eagles Fly (Sammy Solo Acoustic)
Deeper Kinda Love (Sammy Solo Acoustic)
Learning To See (new tune described as Hard rocking and dark)
    Best of Both Worlds
Guitar Solo (Featuring Wolfgang Van Halen)
    Dreams
    Ain't Talkin' 'Bout Love
    Right Now
    You Really Got Me
    When It's Love

The setlist as played varied a little bit from the written setlist. Additionally, we hear that the band plans o_n playing at least a couple songs o_n the tour that were NOT played last night so watch for more surprises! You Really Got Me was planned as the final tune but Sammy didn't want the night to end and declared that they may as well rehearse in front of them and then broke out When It's Love.

I see they are doing five good songs on this tour. The rest are disposable.

Too bad that fat ass is singing them.

I hate to break it to you but Dave is the one that needed and still needs his career to get a kick in the ass to get it going.

Dave has something you will never have, like for instance a brain. No, really. He does not need a kick in the ass to get his career going. Dave has had enough fame and fortune that he can totally afford to sit on his ass and watch this sham of a tour go straight down the crapper. When the entertainment value from this has diminished, he will go on to do something else. Not because he needs the money, or has to prove himself, but because he is bored. And whatever he does, be it singing, acting, directing, writing, or some totally new offshoot of everything else he has ever done in his lifetime, he will do it Davey style, to make himself happy, and not to get the record company off his back or to pay his alimony or for any other reasons than because he wants to, he can, and cause it seems like a good idea at the time.

First of all, if he had a brain he would be in Van Halen right now instead of Sammy. And don't let it fool you the ONLY reason he and Sammy for that matter did their tour was for the money. The same thing that is going on right now with the reunion. They are doing it for the money and maybe a little bit for the fans. So don't be shocked once the tour is over you never hear from Van Halen again.

Wong again my wittle fwiend. I am not so sure that Van Halen is any place to be right at the moment. It would be some what of an embarassment. Especially when you consider what they once had. Now if Dave was in it, it could be marginally better...but that is a maybe. There are only so many ways you can serve baloney. As for Spam and Dave touring together. There is irony there-I am sorry if you can't grasp that. For the money. I don't think so. Because Dave is a sentimental guy and misses the shit out of his early days. Could be. Never hear from Van Halen again? With the way the things are going on it will surprise me if they even finish the tour before they crawl back under the rocks they have been hiding under-but that doesn't mean it will be by choice as much as by the fact that they suck.

So you are telling me if Roth were given a chance to get back in the band he would say no. You are out of your mind. And don't come back with some shit like "if he were in the band it would make the band better".

I already said there are so many ways you can serve baloney. IT cold be marginally better, but there are limits. Does he want to be back in the band? He says yes. But unlike Ed who is dreaming of turning the clocks back, Dave knows that they will never have what they used to have. Could be one of the reasons they were not able to work this out. If he does get back with the band, then we will wait and see what music they produce and let it tell the story. Fair Nuff? And really, do you know what MILF is, I want to know.
