Van Halen had just come from their most successful album/tour to date, 1984, and with regards to the old VH fans, they were expecting to hear more of what they heard, or wanted to hear, from the 1984 tour. The rest of the fans were based solely on Novelty and Curiousity. That's a proven fact.

What they got was some fat-fuck, bad luck, wimpy suck, Yoko Ono wannabe. For Hagar, it was purely a business decision. Van Halen, at that time, was a high commodity, and for Hagar it was simply a turn-key proposition. He not only took the VH Bros. up on their offer, he boasted on record, on tour and in interviews as if HE had been responsible for Van Halen's success to date.

Could be they don't want the tour to be successfull? I am still having a major problem with Ed and the marking his guitar neck. Somthings not right. As much fun as it is to slam these guys-it is hard to believe they have fallen so hard. How much push does CCC have over these guys? How bad did they want to do this concert, and whose way are they doing it? How much control do they even have over the set list, the singer or anything else that is going on these days? Something doesn't smell right about this kettle of fishies folks.

Now the golden rings are a source of amusement for me. I was at the links the other day and the tools were crying that those "freebies" are better seats than the five star packages! Promo and charity seating.
