Question about CVH logo on official site

I just noticed that the VH logo on the official site has a little TM mark on the lower right. Was that always there, or has the marketing machine been turned on?

I'm sure that logo has been trade marked for decades by now...
But yeah If there's money to be had.. They'll pounce on it. Hell, I would too.

I noticed that too after I looked at a picture of it that I copied and pasted from the first day they had the classic logo and it originally it wasn't there but they added it about a month later, but its been there since before Ed went to rehab.

I agree with Vinnie... I think this is the first time I've ever noticed it. Must be for all of the T-Shirts they're cranking out with House Industries..

They should've trade marked it in '78, really.

But I guess they want to distinguish between bootlegs, etc than from official merchandise.
