There is always hope that we will hear them together again.
It is not so much that Eddie can't play the old stuff anymore. Hell, they're Dave's songs and he couldn't remember the words when they were new. We could forgive Ed that. It is more that he was acting like he can't play at all. Missing a chord here and there is like a typo. I type quite a bit, my fingers get ahead of themselves. BUT I KNOW WHERE THE KEYS ARE.Comment

Nah, we dont want him to die, just to play like when his testicles existed again ! I have to cut Ed a bit of slack, its going to be hard to rock your balls off when your vocalist is midway through menopause.
But get Dave back in there, and a bit of competition happening again, and who knows, maybe he can claim his crown again ? At the moment the court jesters are even looking down on him...
Actually I take that back, I think he was at court jester level watching that rehearsal footage.
But anyone here that has ever played Van Halen riffs on the guitar, must have cringed as much as me when he started playing unchained with Spammy... Man that was bad..... Spammy sounded like shit and Ed was totally hitting the wrong notes..
