            Van Halen # 3

I would like to know how they figure this out. Prince is #10 but he has 3 sold out shows in detroit. As a matter of fact they sold out in minutes. Van halen has yet to sell out either detroit show. The first 3 stops on the VH tour tickets are not selling very well.

Now thats the definition of a sold out show. One that has no tickets avaialble within hours of them being released. So yeah, how does the Pollstar algorithm work ?? I wonder if they are owned by the same company as the promoters ?? hmmmmmmm

No you don't understand sheep wisdom....

He's trying to tell us that Zeppelin would have been a much better band with Justin Timberlake singing, because that "loser" Robert Plant never won any Grammy's from the corporate music industry.

See, it makes total sense..... if you eat enough of the right mushrooms.

I doubt a Dave fronted VH would even sell out these days. I mean nobody really cares about these guys except us diehards. The general public was burned one by a DLR/VH reunion i don't think they'll pay attention. but really it doesn't matter.

yeh okay...the first "BEST OF..." sold well because of David Lee Roth!!!

at that time, it was only a year after the lame "Balance" was released and that sold only 2 million, and that was coming off that horrible '93 Live, "Right Here, Right Now" disaster!!!

Jeez, I can remember people gettin' shit faced when word hit that "DAVE" wuz back w/ VH back in '96! I mean, everyone saw the Mtv show and people were goin' ape...they didn't even do anything, but walk out on a stage! WOULD PEOPLE REACT LIKE THAT IF THEY CAME OUT W/ SAM? doubtful...then all the Rock stations were playin' "MWM" and people were like..."Holy Shit...there b-a-a-a-ck...!!!
people didn't even give a shit that sam wuz gone, but that ROTH wuz in!!!

that's why the "BEST OF.. VOL. 1" cd sold well! why do u think there releasing another GREATEST HITS, as opposed to releasing a brand new cd? do the math folks! because a new cd with Hagar probably isn't going to do much business theze dayz...

gimme a fuckin' break, if theze sheep think young people were buying that cd for "Can't Stop Loving You", then they must really consider takin' off the shit stained glasses there hiding behind. it's classic VH that the unsilent majority wants! even VH's weakest album, "DIVER DOWN" sold over 4 Million! except for 5150 and ou812, none of there spam efforts sold that many ever again!

if this new ,"BEST OF", sells, it'll be cuz of Disc 1...

It's perplexing to say the least. I saw this animal psychologist on Discovery one night spewing about Kasmir goats. In retrospect, sub-freudian whackos even have a grain of relevence. He chose the crazy long-haired goats to make his case. "You gotta chase these goats around to get the perty sweaters...all you need is a friggin' neurotic dog to handle the sheep". His point was the stress involved with being shaved all the time or some shit.
