    VAN HALEN SECURE EAST COAST REHEARSAL SPACE:
    I know there is maximum interest out there in hearing any positive Van Halen news, so here's just a little bit. The band's 2007 tour plans are on track and I hear that everyone is doing just fine. There is good health and good harmony within the band!
    Now - what I heard today was that the band has secured an East Coast venue for a weeks worth of rehearsals...and this popular venue could be the starting point for the tour. The timing of this is stated as late September/early October.
    No update on the timing of an announcement, but it cannot be far off!
    Are you Mr. Roth? I said yes I am. She said well Mr. Roth I can't serve you anymore because I think your drunk and if I was you girlfriend I'd put poison in your drink! And I looked in the bottle and I said why you old witch if I was your boyfriend I'd fucking well drink it too!!!!

      2007 tour? I don't see it. Early 2008 maybe...

      If they are touring in the Autumn, they are not leaving enough time to sell tickets, at least that's how it seems to me.

      I just can't see a tour starting in September. Anyone else think that October/ November is feasible?

      Seems tight to me....

          It does seem tight, but they've probably been working a lot behind the scenes to make sure it all goes smoothly this time. If they announce it soon, I think it will work. The tickets will sell fast so that shouldn't be a problem. I wonder if they've rented a big hall or if it's something like a rehearsal studio (like SIR in New York)?

              I want this happen, the time-frame just seems tight to me...

                      If they are rehearsing for a tour that starts late September/early October they are probably going to be doing a full on show, lighting, sound rehearsal. Alex, Wolfgang and Ed jam together pretty frequently. Just add Dave and it's a done deal. But who knows.....

                      I can't wait for this to actually happen!

                                  Maybe the Spectrum in Philly. They have the Wachovia center there too which is where the 76ers and Flyers play, so maybe the Spectrum is available. Just a guess, but I would think that Van Halen would be rehearsing in a big arena getting their shit tight. VH filmed Panama there too, so there is a little history. Who Knows? Elly, you look great.

                                                          There's also a little (well, not so little just tucked away and very private) not far from here that a lot of bands use as rehearsal space. It's out in the middle of nowhere (seemingly) and yet all the amenities you can dream of are delivered without question. Might need to phone a friend later today...
