Did they ever play this song live on the 1984 tour?, as far as I know, there isn't a live version, any reasons? just curious, great riff-tastic song
No live version of "Drop dead legs"?

I don't think it was ever played live... Sure would be a great one though... Top Jimmy is the other one from 1984 that never saw the light of day.Originally posted by wiseguyThat shit will welcome you in the morning and pour the milk in your count chocula for ya. -
Drop Dead Legs might be a possibility for this tour.
Eddie, Alex and Mike were known to play it during the soundchecks on Velveetapalooza 2004.
Without Hagar singing, thank God.
But anyway, they can't say that it can't be played live.Eat Us And Smile

That would be one of those surprise songs that you remember driving home. I can't believe they broke out Drop Dead Legs.Comment

I know I'm in the minority but I fucking hate "Top Jimmy." I don't know why, the song always just bugged the piss out of me. It pains me to say that about ANY CVH song...I like to pay close attention to the things I'll forget later...Comment

Funny, I always thought that one was one of the most under rated/appreciated CVH songs. The rhythm playing on it is fan-fuckin-tastic. I lump it with 'Push Comes to Shove' and 'Secrets' as the 'sleeper' songs on the album.I like to pay close attention to the things I'll forget later...Comment

As much as I love Drop Dead Legs, I can't see that one working without Sauce Boy. He's practically singing a duet with Dave in that chorus.Eternally Under the Authority of Satan
