Just wait,like all of have for 20 years to see Van Halen again they way they should be.Problem is Eddie is going to be fit and playing great,Roth will be singing great and back on top as the leader of Van Halen,Alex will look great without his neck brace,and Wolfie will be Wolfie,but without Mike's background vocals classic Van Halen will not sound like classic Van Halen.I hope these guys can pull it off,but I am doubtfull.This is not a classic Van Halen reunion,because Mike is one of the biggest parts of the classic Van Halen sound,like it or not.Like I said before I bet they will Sample some of the backgroud vocals.Check this out from melodicrock....................................... ....................

Well its easy to answer "Who the hell is Mike Anthony" - he was the bassplayer for the ass-kickingest rock band to ever grace the earth: Classic Van Halen. Remember? "Where is Mike Anthony" requires a bit more analysis.

Roth seems to bring out the best in Eddie's playing when they record together.I think if Eddie is not drinking or whatever that he will sound great with Roth,but I know that is a big if.It's just sad to me that we won't have the backing vocals.Mike said last time they got together with Roth the stuff that they recored sounded like Van Halen 1.You can't sound like Van Halen 1 unless you have the backing vocals.Who knows maybe Wolfie and Eddie can sing the backgroung vocals and it will sound good,or maybe they will just sample,but its going to be sad if the music and lead singing is dead on and the backing vocals suck.Who is going to sing all the high harmonies for Running with the devil,Little Dreamer,Feel your love tonight,Jamies Crying,I'm the one,etc,etc,etc.I wonder what Dave is thinking.He must know that Mike is a big part of the classic Van Halen sound.Who knows,maybe the new stuff sounds great without Mike.Only time will tell.

im sick of people trying to say they want to boycott the tour because of the lack of mikey. all of these people would go see dave solo so why not see him with ed and al?
