because EDDIE VAN HALEN IS A FUCKING CHILD AND A PRICK!

I would feel the same way if Mike, Ed and Dave decided to tour without
Al and I felt the same way all those years they did it without Dave. I
don't shed a tear for Mike - I may, however, shed a tear,
metaphorically speaking, for the fond memory of Classic Van Halen.

I'm familiar with the feeling. It's going to be strange seeing just 3/4 of the original lineup. When you look to Dave's right, you'll expect to see Mike's face, and it won't be there.

But I think by the third or fourth song, if all goes well, nobody will care that much anymore.
