In 2004 Mike signed a contract for his services for the 2004 tour.

1st part would be that he would work for minimum wage. LOL

2nd part would be that he would agree to not slam his employers (Eddie & Alex Van Halen) in the press.

Remember Mike had not worked for 6 years (1998-2004) so he was easy prey for the brothers.

Yeah, Michael will never go public over want happened because he wants the door to be left open for a return one day! if you look back to the RARHOF induction Mike`s comments about Ed were laughable," I love you man". Mike love`s Ed, after all Ed`s done to him over the last few years, yeah right!

Michael Anthony would not be where he is today if it wasn't for Van Halen. Any bass player could have been inserted in his position and done the job.

BTW, Mike is on 93.3 the Bone in Dallas this morning talking about the VH reunion. I believe you can listen to the interview at 933thebone.com

Christ....they are having a cuntest to give away tickets to be ONSTAGE during the Spamulus Flatulus/bassplayer show in Dallas in October.

I find it interesting how the musical chairs touring is going to play out.

Spamulus Flatulus and bassplayer just happen to be touring at the same time VH is touring again.

            Gee what a coincidence....

Since when did VH fans really give a rats ass as to what bass player had to say???

                Unbelievable.

                        vanhagar is on right now.

Chirst...thebone radio station is TRULY representative of all that is WRONG with rock radio.

                        1. Self-important, lame, not funny morning show idiots (who think they are funny).

                        2. Playlist paid for by consultants who have no clue.

                        3. 10 minutes of advertising, followed by one song, followed by 5 minutes of advertising, and then some stupid bullshit from the morning show idiots, followed by 5 more minutes of advertising.

                        Repeated ad nauseum.

                        Fucking cocksuckers.

                            "So far no bassplayer"

There is, Wolfie's the bassplayer. As far as I know they haven't been rehearsing with another, wouldn't make sense to get one now, I prefer Wolfie than someone outside the VH legacy

Hmmm they just said he called in during their show. I musta tuned in too late.

Though they said they will replay it Monday, and that they are making Monday be VH day at their station due to the upcoming press conference.
