    Can we ever forgive EDWARD

If this tour goes thru and is a success, if the band gives us a double cd or at least 2 cd's of new music, releases prior full concerts and extra's on DVD! Can we forgive Ed/Al for the hagar/cherone MISTAKES??? Input please!

Never 100%. He has squandered away 22 years. Even if you like Van Hagar, Ed has still pissed away 11 years. Add to that the way he's treated the fans over the years, it will be tough for him to fully redeem himself.
“Great losses often bring only a numb shock. To truly plunge a victim into misery, you must overwhelm him with many small sufferings.”

YOU can forgive him if you want.

As long as Dave fronts the band and they do some decent shit, let the Clownsuit fans suffer a while.

        23 years maybe?

I don`t think i`ll ever be able to forgive Ed, because he has wasted the last 11 years. I say 11 years, because I feel 1996 was the right time for a reunion. The buzz is not how it was back then, as we have been let down on many occassions since. However, Dave looks and sounds as good as ever (he`s always had an effect on the critics).
I`m confident that they can pull off outstanding shows and a couple of new albums over the next few years.
Hey, maybe if they had reunited in 1996 they would have got pissed off with each other, and it would have been over years back. I really want two great studio albums from them over the next few years.
Maybe they have completed the album they started in 2000, they were only a couple of songs short of a new album!

The band? I forvive everyday.... but forget...?

              Forget Spam ?

If this thing goes Dave will make the whole world forget Spam.

It's a different Style of VH it won't look or sound like the 1,2,3,4,incarnations it will stand or fall on it's own.

I don't even know Ed. Never met him personally. He's never hit on my wife or harmed my family. What's there to forgive him for?

Oh yeah, he doesn't live his live to fulfill my wishes... Fuck him, then!

Even if there was a full blown CVH Reunion, I'll never forgive Eddie for what he did in 1996.

THAT is still the pinnacle of his fucking with the fans.

Sometimes, as good as they are, I can't listen to the 96 BOV1 tracks because of what happened.

No way, and I'll tell you why, everytime I meet up with new people whereever, and they ask me what's your favourite band? and I reply, they go "Who" or "Van what?" "Vangelis?" " Never heard of them" and I go on and say DLR sang for them then I get 'em totally lost. It's embarrasing and frustrating.

Also he could of patch things together back in 96 but he gets an ego-attack and gets cherone, IMPERDONABLE!

He buried the band with all it's glory and reputation.
