Now I get it: When the torch was first put up, VH was doing nothing. So it was put up for a reunion, of course a Dave-only reunion, right?

I was thinking it was for when Dave comes back to the band and if anyone else was gone (like Mike) it would still be lit, because it was a Dave-only torch.

I'm glad you cleared this up because I'm betting many here are thinking like I was.

If the torch is to be lit, shouldn't it happen the moment when we have irrefutable confirmation that the 1st show is well under way?
