Dave vs. Janie?

OK....simply speculation, but I'm wondering if Janie "Yoko" Liszewski may end up being the wildcard that becomes the new wedge between Dave and Ed.

There has been much speculation on the boards recently about how long the tour will last. There are many cynics out there who think they won't hold it together for all 50 dates, and given VH's volatile history, you can't really blame them.

Many seem to think that it will be Dave & Ed who will fracture (again) and blow the whole thing up.

BUT...I was just wondering if it might be Dave and Janie who cause the rift. The new VH website has a prominent link to High Profile Media, which is Janie's PR company. High Profile seems to only have one client....Van Halen.

Traditionally, a Roth-led Van Halen has had DLR at the forefront of promotion ideas, marketing, etc... Now, he's been "replaced" by Janie. Can Dave stifle his ideas? Will his ideas, if presented, even be welcomed by the "staff" at High Profile Media?

A disagreement with Janie will no doubt evolve (quickly) into a disagreement with Ed, because he's fucking her.

Your thoughts?

That's interesting....where does that leave Matt Sencio's job ?

The Press Conference Video seemed to show both Matt Sencio and Animal.

Janie is a newbie to the Music PR Industry, so if she's smart, she'll stay out of the band's way, only providing PR when asked or needed, and be responsible to feed Edward and padlock the Smoking Loon.

Without Jeanie and Wolfie this would be nothing more than a pipedream.

Time to be thankful she came into Ed's life and has only best intents for the band.

She orchestrated the entire press conference perfectly!

it was a hack job. a backdrop and four rented plasma TV's in a hotel conference room isn't much fucking work. there wasn't even a mic for the media to pass around when they were asking their questions.

Matt was there at the Press Conference, and so was Animal, so Dave is keeping his Posse. He is also keeping his own PR person, Elaine Schock, whom he hired during the "Strummin w/the Devil" CD. She is working in conjuction with Janie.
