Ed's got a new Brother Huh? Bullshit! Lets see...Gary was a soul mate after Sammy....sammy and Co. were Real after Gary and ed swore he'd take up Tuba if it wasn't.... Now dave is his new Brother and its real and new and all the Bullshit weve heard for the last 10 or so years.
That Press conference was as Fake as it gets. Im glad to see them back together but a band it will never be. Watch them closly as ed hugs and then Kisses Dave, the look on his face and his Body Language say it all.....
Anybody know how much Tickets are?? $300.00, $400.00 bucks maybe??

Yes. Eddie looked uncomfortable up there. But he always has been uncomfortable without a guitar in his hands. Notice how many interviews with him where he's holding a guitar. Even at his big house party he walked around with it strapped to him. Like Linus & his blanket.

As far as Ed's mental capacity goes, he sounds like he's on the Ozzy path to total incoherence. The guys brain seems like it's runnin' on fumes.

I would really rather see The real Parrot Head

I'm not buying the brotherhood concept until we see them on tour. Maybe it's that way but for how long?

I agree Ed was nervous and uptight but that's normal - he hates interviews and public appearances.

He was very blunt in answering the question about his rehab stint.

Did anyone notice how the place went silent for 2 seconds? but dave stepped in and smoothen things out

But in the end he seemed happy with the conference, Ed and dave shook hands and that's a good sign, although Dave could't help taking all the limelight in the photo shoot, poor Alex wa seeing more of dave's back than anyone else

Dave cut Ed off twice in speaking.
If anything, the discomfort you was seeing was Ed thinking, "Oh yeah, I'd forgotten what it was like to be on stage with Dave..."

Van Halen has been non-existent without Dave (in my opinion), but Dave's gotta do his part and at least pretend that he's not the only one on stage.

I think they agreed that Dave was going to do "all the talking" but then Ed tried to pipe in a few times and Dave wasn't expecting it.

Eddie needs to speak up anyways...he's got this mumble thing going on...maybe due to the tongue or insecurities or what ever...his voice just doesn't project the way Dave's does.

I don't think Dave even realized Ed was talking.

Dave is Dave, he does his thing. I thought that PC went really well, and all the band members were in agreement on who would do most of the talking. These guys do have alot to prove, but in the end i think we all will have some great live concert memories and future new material that will once again let these guys go out on top, whenever that will be.
