I was told recently that the good seats will be $137 for the KC show. I'm hoping just for the opportunity to pay $137 for a ticket. The arena will only be two weeks old at that time.
I think I paid about $10 in '82 and I got my '84 ticket free.

Remember the days when you "camped out" for tickets? Could we all bring our sleeping bags to the Ticketmaster corporate office and camp out?

One of the advantages of being sucessful is not worrying about the cost of tickets to high profile events such as Super Bowl,Kentucky Derby,Indy 500, etc. Van Halens reunion is of the same stripe. This is not a poor mans event! Pony up or shut up! Hell I wanted to do the whole fucking tour but guess what? Tough shit I can't afford but a couple of shows.But I am going to those shows, thankful just to be there, fuck what i had to pay to get in.To the victors in life go the spoils. Dave's Pa you nailed it.It is supply and demand.More peeps want in than capacity will allow = higher prices.

I don’t get how Ticket Brokers, scalpers someone from ebay can resale the 5 star packages.

The person who orders the packages need to show their ID and the Credit Card used and needs to be present at the stadium/arena.

Someone from the ticket broker company, ticket scalper would have to be at the arena to claim all the packages they sold.

A package like this on ebay has Rip off/screwed all over it.

Ehhhh - don't mind him, he's just very angry. Its therapeutic for him to go around trying to bash new posters and make them not want to post here anymore. Welcome to the forum, Jay.

I'm sure as the dates approach, the North Carolina crowd will organize a meet and drink - and there will be good times to be had before the shows. You and anyone should be invited (I would say 'you are invited' but I don't have any kind of authority around here to make those determinations :D )
