I heard, I still think all of this shit is being done to signify the FINAL farewell to sam. ALL OF IT.call it a gift to the hagar fans. If they reunite with dave today will anyone care that they released his songs with sam singing(AGAIN) I have heard the interviews where sam says this is a one-off tour and then its back to the wabos. Does anyone think that if sam goes back to the wabos that it will be the end for ed,mike and al? The inevitable is closer than we think. Dave must return. I HAVE FAITH( or at least a deep desire to see that which I have never seen.)

The first three shows have one pair of tickets to be auctioned. the others have 24. There are two sites you can look at. I think its hilarious cause of all the Hagaritas with their panties in a bunch about shelling out the $350 or whatever for the 5 star packages, and now the promo seats that are being auctioned for charity, and given out via contests are the better deal. I am sure that when the Hagaritas were paying the big bucks they felt sure they would at least get a meet and greet out of the deal. And all they got was screwed. LMAO.

Who is in the know on the Dave clause?

Think the time was right in 1996, and that window of opportunity slipped by. Too much time has been wasted and the feelings of excitement that were generated in 1996 have dwindled to the point where many people just don't give a shit anymore if Roth gets back together with Halen or not.

Ed, Al and the Van Halen name are damaged goods now, and it would take nothing short of a phenominal display from a reunited classic lineup to make sais reunion worthwhile.

Not that I know the guy, but from what I've seen and heard as of late, I think EVH is out to lunch. Too many years of drinking, the backlash from 1996, VH3 bombing, the illness, his wife splitting and just plain inactivity have sent this guy around the bend.
