      If the seats aren't what you want, unload them on ebay and buy DC tickets.

        Steve'll be able to tell ya'll better than I would, but great location for a concert...

        Plenty of good bars within a couple blocks to hang out before and after the show....

        Arena is fairly new, plenty of places to grab a brew or two...

        Metro station is directly under the arena....

              Fans Across The Country Show Their Excitement for First

              Van Halen/David Lee Roth Tour in More Than 22 Years





              (LOS ANGELES, CA) August 20, 2007 Tickets for the first Van Halen tour in more than 22 years with David Lee Roth as lead vocalist went on sale this weekend and resulted in immediate sell outs in multiple markets around the country, including Charlotte, Detroit (Palace), 2 shows in Toronto, 2 in Chicago and one in Philadelphia. Tour producer Live Nation immediately added additional shows in Philadelphia (Wachovia Center 10/3) and Detroit (Joe Louis Arena 10/20) which will go on sale this Saturday, August 25th.



              An additional stop was also scheduled for Washington, DC’s Verizon Center (11/1), extending Van Halen’s historic trek to 29 dates in all. Tickets for the Washington, DC date will go on sale this Friday, August 24th. In addition, tickets for the band’s October 30th show at Boston’s TD Banknorth Garden go on sale this Saturday, August 25th.



              A complete list of confirmed dates is attached and more information and tickets are available at http://www.livenation.com/. Additional announcements regarding on sale dates will be made in the coming weeks. Individuals who have the Citi® / AAdvantage® card, the official credit card of the tour, will be offered access to purchase preferred seats to all U.S. shows.

                  They have also added a show at Nassau Coliseum on the 7th. They did,nt even mention this addition in their press release. There is a lot of days between the Madison Square Garden show and the Nassau Coliseum show. These venues are about 20 miles from each other. Hopefully additional dates will be added to the Garden show. Seems likely since this is such a big name venue. Personally Ill be seeing them at both the Garden and Nassau since I'm only 20 minutes from the Colliseum. Be bringing my 16 year old daughter since she is a huge fan.
