Remember what it was like to see them back in the day? When 12 to 350,000 people at a time would scream their asses off until their vocal chords imploded? And that would be by the third song?

I mean, come on......you get a lot of people who have never witnessed the intensity of the AUDIENCE at a Van Halen concert.

I wonder if the 40 to 50-year-old crowd can deliver like they did back in the day?

The crowds were loud as fuck back in the day. For the whole goddamn show !
And speaking of loud, back in '81 I worked my way up to front row right in front of Ed. Hearing him directly from his cabs was amazing. I remember being surprised at how clean his tone was .
He was one LOUD MOTHERFUCKER !

People who have never been to a CVH show cannot know the extreme volume put forth by a CVH crowd.

They are going to be amazed, astounded, and some of them who have never experienced the ferocity and sheer volume of a CVH audience may be frightened and run home crying to mommy.

I have never in my life heard crowds roar at ANY show like they do at a Van Halen show.

There is NO comparison.

Period.

Maybe that's because CVH had more girls in attendance than most other rock bands, and girls scream a LOT louder than guys
