If Eddie called Spammy again instead, he would have jumped right on it and been all over it like melted Cheese! What would Mike Anthony do, since him and the VH brothers are fighting. Also would Wolfie still be the Bass player?

Sammy will never be back because by then he will be pushing 65 years old. From here on out it is this current lineup or nothing. Outside of a group of people at the links and other groups scattered here an there, there is no interest in any version of VH with Hagar in it.

Hagar is the only one who publicly pushes a joint Roth/Hagar/Van Halen venture (Mike will sit there and nod his head while Sam says it in interviews, but Mike sitting and silently nodding his head isn't exactly new...or meaningful), and for an obvious reason; Hagar rode on the back of what Roth helped to build to begin with, so it's only natural that Hagar would like to continue experiencing success vicariously through Dave's participation.

If Ed had called either Hagar or Anthony and said "I want you back in the band, but not both of you," Sammy AND Mikey both would say "Sure, Ed".

I think he would laugh and ask"Did Dave quit again already?".I think even if he was asked,Sam would not rejoin the band.He got his closer with the 2004 tour,which went down in flames.Both he and Mike know they are no longer wanted in the band and seem content doing their thing without all the bullshit that comes with being in VH.
