I'm very much thinking about going to this show after seeing Charlotte and Greensboro. I know I'll never see another show like this again... hands down the best shows I've ever seen. I'm pretty sure that I'd be going alone for this one, though... it's about 7 hours away. Not the furthest a VH fan has gone to see a show, but still pretty far.

D'OH! I wish I was born in the right generation. I so want to hang out with cool VH/Dave fans, but I'm quite a bit closer to Wolfie's age than to the age of the average VH fan. Being 19 in 2007 sure keeps me from a lot of rock 'n' roll fun.

I had to post this to the board. I just sent an email out to a bunch of friends and family in the DC area. Some have tix... some don't. Here's what I had to say...


One week from tonight, David Lee Roth and Edward Van Halen will appear on stage *together* in Washington DC. It'll be the first time since March 26, 1984 that they'll have been on stage together in DC. That was during Reagan's *first* term. Joe Theismann was the starting QB for the Washington Redskins. The World Wide Web hadn't even been invented yet. I was 18 years old.

A lot has happened since then. Some good, some... not so good. But one thing remains the same. For those who want to rock 'n roll to some good party music that is fun and makes you want to smile... you crank up some Classic Van Halen. You know the tunes... Jamie's Crying, Dance the Night Away, Beautiful Girls, Everybody Wants Some!!!, So This is Love, Unchained, Panama, Hot for Teacher... need I go on?

So, these two icons will be back together, live before your naked, steaming eyes. But, wait... not all of you have tickets... I implore you to get them NOW. If you're a fan, you don't want to miss this. You'll never be able to see this again... Diamond David Lee Roth and the greatest guitar player of our generation, Edward Van Halen, reunited, playing 25 songs from the Classic Van Halen era.

Now, we're all a little older. We might not have as much hair or we may be a little heavier than we were in 1984. We might get to bed a little earlier than we used to. But, I think we all know how to shake our ass and have a good time. Now is the time to do it. This is your call to action.

I talked an old girlfriend who has some sugardaddy now into getting tix. She bought 2 front row on StubHub for $865 a piece. She'll be taking an old buddy of mine. Now I'm jealous as I'll be in section 102.
