Comparing Edmonton to Montreal????

I like Edmonton, buts lets get real. Montreal is the best party town in Canada and maybe North America.

Well honey, they're all in-laws whom I don't know.

Believe me, I wasn't comparing Edmonton to Montreal. It just blew my mind when I moved there and discovered the never-ending festivals! I do believe that Edmonton now has more festival days than Montreal does - incredible as that may seem!

I would never compare the two. Montreal is the backbone of this entire nation, IMO. (BG - please let Montrealers know that there are SOME of us Westerners that feel that way.)

I WISH I could come there, however I'm so frigging broke right now I'm starting to wonder if I'll even be able to manage Vancouver in December.

That said, my kids basic training will be taking place in Quebec, and he wants me to come for his graduation... we WILL hook up then sweetheart!

St-Viateur bagels with Smoked Salmon kick ass; sorry but NY bagels dont hold a candle to St-Viateur bagels. Hand rolled and cooked in a wood brick oven. Mmmmm

On the other hand I wouldnt eat Fairmount bagels if you paid me. Last time I was there I saw a 1 ft rat running across the floor just as I was about to order. Needless to say I never eneded up placing the order and just turned around and walked out of the shop. Very dirty place.
