      1981 for sure...

Look at Dave's pants (if you can) and the stage arrangement...

Man if you EQ that a bit, the guitar solo and the guitar at the end is really awesome...

Almost brings tears to my eyes...

The bass is really jammin' as well...

from the view, it looks like this was filmed from the sound board. I wonder if there is more of these recordings out there. Elivis, where did you find this?

I'm "Partyslammer." That video's on my YouTube account. Regarding the history of that show, as far as I know, it's from the only traded video bootleg of a Fair Warning tour show. I should add there's been persistant rumors that a certain well-known VH bootleg uber collector is hording complete videos of both the 1981 *and* 1980 tours, both from the Capitol Center arena in Largo, MD but I've never seen either show myself.

I have this complete show this clip of "Mean Street" is taken from (although it's missing the encore songs which were't filmed) and as you can all see, it's got fair audio but the video quality is pretty awful. It was shot from about halfway up in the loge straight in the back of the arena and the filmer appeared to be using a tripod and rarely zooms in for any decent closeups. I have to go back and re-watch the entire show but I believe it's from one of the July, '81 New York shows.

Here's the rest of my videos:

You do not have this show. What you have is the two sets of pro-shot 8mm film footage that came with the widely available VH '84 Vegas bit torrent dvd. Also, you list times for the first night in Chicago that would indicate full songs which they are not. Those clips run anywhere from about 15 seconds to just under a minute per song.

The tape I have has the complete show up through "Feel Your Love Tonight" and "You Really Got Me" after Eddie's guitar solo but omits "Unchained" and "Ain't Talkin' 'Bout Love."

I used snippets of that Chicago 8mm footage along with my recording of 6/21/81 to make this video of "Sinner's Swing."

Yes as to the 8mm footage. I can see that yours is actually pieced together from whatever? As far as listing full songs, not my site if that is what you are refering to? But if the site owner says full songs, might be worth while contacting him?
