Firstly, why the hate and obsession over hip hop?

Yes, most of it sucks and is redundant and it's way over hyped by the media. But that doesn't mean that there aren't some decent moments...

I'm pretty sure Dave likes a lot of that stuff.

And if anyone thinks that a gaggle of 50-somethings are really going to change anything at this point - you're out of your minds. Especially with no new music...

No. It's a nice dream to have, yet it is only a dream. It's not all that bad either. Yeah there's still a lot of crap out there, but there's some decent stuff and some funky sounding stuff to listen to. Kanye West is a pretty good artist. But then there's stuff like "Party Like a Rockstar". If I ever hear that song again. Someone is gonna get curbstomped. T-t-t-totally dude.

SOME hip hop is good and I admitt listening to it at times.
It's the overload of it in the medias that personally bothers me!

There's not one singel good thing that has ever came out of the world of rap or hip hop in my opinion. All it has brought out is a bunch of thugs with their pants down to their knees, using the word ****** more than the whole white race, and a shitload of violence. It's truly a lazy man's music genre.
