I can’t make fun of his spelling. Because I now type my response in my Word Perfect window and I spell, grammar check it and I cut and paste my response here at RothArmy. Everybody used to make fun of my grammar instead of arguing my post. So that’s why I take sooo long responding to you.

    utilised ?
    rappor ??

    Confused with those words too.

    And this ??

very amusing to see eddie run over to jam with wolf and see wolf turn red with embarrassment!

    Wow, real cool...

That's why I'm worried. Playing in front of 20,000 people will make him clam up.

Alex Van Halen as this generations John Bonham? That totally relegates the rest of that review to complete and utter bullshit...

I think vintage Alex at his best was better than Bonham...

I have to agree with you on this one. The drum riffs to Outta Love are better than anything that I’ve ever heard from JB.

Hardly. If he were, he would have choked on his own puke after Fair Warning. Alex Van Halen is a good drummer who gets to play with arguably the greatest rock guitarist and rock frontman of all time.

I'll bow to Dave and Eddie, but Alex? Come on...sure, he's a good drummer, but he's not in the same galaxy as Bonham, Peart, Copeland...

                    Elvis will probably kick me out of this thread for this, but;

Bueno Bob - If that's your wife in the pink bra - then you're a lucky man.

My wife looks like that, but I'd never get her in that position in front of a camera :-(

Then show me a Zeppelin song that's more technical on drums than Outta Love.

Wolf jammed on stage in 2004, no? He'll see what kind of rowdy motherfuckers Roth attracts compared to Hagar. LOL.

He'll be fine after the initial shock wears off. :D

Alex has his own "signature" sound! He is one of the top 3 drummers I ever saw! If not the best! Tommy Lee ripped off his 1979-1980 solo on the motley theatre of pain tour! So many concert vids I see of drum solo's are ripping off early parts of Alex's solo! Shame I had tix for Zep in 1980 lined up! Alex is a "monster" everyone will see this especially w/DLR fronting!! I saw em 6 times!! CVH that is!!

I have to say i never seen Bonham live either...Alex kicks ass...but as far as studio recordings, Bonham is better IMO...if we are going to get into a debate about drummers lets bring Neal Peart into the discussion

No. the original argument that Elvis and I were having with cscmtp and sadaist is that AVH is better than JB. Neil Peart is on another level than AVH and JB.
