Sadly, it seems alot of it has to do with how Mike has been publicly critical of Dave in the past - in constructive measures - like in the Japanese Burn '06 issue, and how he didn't want Dave back in 1996. The irony of it is that the VH brothers have been far more critical, and sometimes downright dirty, of Dave for the past 20 years than Mike has ever been. How quickly we forget...

It's a given that Ed and Al are going to be assholes. But Ed and Al have a say in what happens in Van Halen. Michael Anthony does not. Michael Anthony could have been "Switzerland" in this whole thing but he chose to be anti Dave.
