You do *not* want to end up in any seat above the three levels of skyboxes. It's actually further up than sitting in nosebleeds at many stadiums.
Anyone shut out or simply passed on tickets for the 2 LA shows today, rest assured there will be decent and possibly excellent seats available mid-week and definately in the 48 hours before the respective shows. I've picked up seats as good as 9th row for "sold out" shows at Staples the day of the show right off Ticketmaster.

T.B.
I am in section 206. You know if that is a good area? I've never been to the Staples Center.

First off, Staples is a *huge* arena. It's a very nice, very clean arena but it's by far the biggest indoor arena in California.
Now I hate to break it to you, but your seats are a long way's away from the stage, especially if you're beyond the first few rows in your section. You are almost directly under the 3 levels of suites almost straight in the back of the arena.

I guess that must be why I had to pay a "premium" price for my seats
At least I will have a good view of the monitor!
Thanks for the info.

I think you'll be blown away from the Nov. 20th show that you'll decide to keep the Dec. Tix and go again! You won't witness another Rock Concert with the thunder this one will have. ROTH will knock your socks off....:D :D

So where are your seats, B? I managed to snake something in the 10's...my friends and I had a hell of a time with Ticketmaster today, but at least we got decent seats.
Nothing's gonna beat 5th row in '84, but hey...:D

One thing is certain: this is going to be a killer show. Just think this will be the first Van Halen concert in about 23 years in their home state and in their home town. The crowd will be absolutely wild. VH will be at its best.
